Krystal Marie Balm
Krystal Marie, born on November 24 1981 is an American political commentator. She was previously a candidate for the US Senate as well as a television presenter on MSNBC. She was a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they would be leaving the show, in May 2021. They wanted to create their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on guest appearances on programs such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball credits her ongoing interest in politics to her experiences as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also viewed the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working there. She was able observe the impact of the election on people in that country and, as a result, she was able to appreciate the global impact US politics has on all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action group working on behalf of Democratic causes.
