Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. A member of Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant director of communications (2009–2011) and the spokesperson for the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns to CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 as an official political contributor for CNN. She was involved in the elections for the re-elections of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki later served as press secretary in John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was appointed the press secretary of President Obama's election campaign. [20] On February 11 2013 Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. 20 years ago, she was employed by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30,2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She was a part of the Obama administration until the end of its term.
