Terrina Chrishell Stause[1] (born July 21st 1981) is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is her role on Selling Sunset, a Netflix reality series. Her earlier roles included Amanda Dillon (All My Children) and Jordan Ridgeway (Days of Our Lives). Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky. She received her B.A. from Murray State University. The stage was her first performance in 2003. Her middle name "Chrishell" is a portmanteau word created due to the peculiar circumstances of her birth when her mother went into labor at a Shell station, and an attendant named Chris assisted in the delivery of the baby. However, in her book Strause denies the gossip on her birth. Strause told Strause that her mother had car trouble and she pulled into a station. She entered pre-labor in the station, and the attendant assisted her in getting to an hospital. Strause was born at a hospital. Her mother split with her biological father, who was half Japanese/half Spanish before she realized she was expecting. Jeff is her stepson. Chrishell Strause missed middle school for a whole year due to the fact that she had to live in the tent. Strause revealed her experiences of hiding her life from her peers by recounting how she washed her hair in rivers and applying for food stamps. When she was 10 years old, her parents struggled with addiction and mental illness. Then, Strause was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. Strause describes Strause's mother as self-righteous , uncontrollable, and she has never had an income steady.
