Lara Logan
Lara Logan was born 29 March 1971. She is a South African journalist, radio and television journalist. She was a CBS News correspondent from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politically biased piece on 2012 Benghazi as "the most regrettable mistake I've made in the past 10 years." She was a part of the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2019, a conservative media company. In January 2020 she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News operates a subscription streaming site. She stated that she was "dumped by the company" in March 2022. Logan was a news reporter for Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). She was hired by Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as a senior producer. After four years of working for the Reuters Television network in Africa, she began freelance journalism. She was hired as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. She was a reporter for CNN and reported on events such as the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war
